Buffalo Hospital Foundation’s mission is to be a catalyst for innovative services and facilities to improve community health.

From community wellness and to surgical services, emergency care to delivery babies, Buffalo Hospital plays a vital role in the health of our fast-growing community. Today the hospital is stronger than ever, thanks to many individuals, companies, foundations and organizations. These essential partnerships help keep the hospital comfortable, accessible and modern, along with supporting compassionate and innovative care.

Your gifts in action

One example community support is in full swing right now. Buffalo Hospital is currently building a new Birth Center that will double the size of our current center and provide a more comfortable, healing environment for families.

The current Birth Center was built in 1980 and is now undersized to meet the community's growing needs and expectations. The new Birth Center is a $7.1 million investment in our community. Allina Hospitals & Clinics committed $6.1 million and Buffalo Hospital Foundation is raising the remaining $1 million. Reason to give

The Foundation raises funds to help Buffalo Hospital provide exceptional patient-centered care within our walls and to the community we serve. Buffalo Hospital is a not-for-profit organization that reinvests its profits to improve its services and facilities. As our community continues to grow, the hospital’s revenue alone is not adequate to keep pace with demands for bigger and better facilities, technologies and services. This is partially due to the high cost of providing care and partially due to the decreasing rate of reimbursement we receive from insurance companies. As a nonprofit hospital, we are committed to serving every person who walks through our door, regardless of their insurance coverage or financial resources.
