Memory Connection™

One in 10 Americans has a family member with Alzheimer’s and one in three knows someone with the disease. To support the growing number of people coping with memory loss, long-term care and assisted living organizations, in partnership with the Buffalo Hospital Foundation, have launched the Memory Connection.

“Dedicated to educating and raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, the Memory Connection is connecting caregivers, patients and providers to resources and expertise that allow all of us to better serve those touched by memory loss,” says Theresa Henson, chairperson, Memory Connection.

The organization hosts an annual walk, (formerly known as the Sailing Ahead with Hope Walk) and will use the funds raised to continue support for the Alzheimer’s Association and Alzheimer’s research while adding community education offerings throughout the year.

For more information about the Memory Connection or to make a donation, call the Buffalo Hospital Foundation at 763-684-6800.
