Toasted tortilla chips
These healthful chips are fun to make and good to munch.
Ingredients4 six-inch flour tortillas
juice of a large fresh lime, strained
cayenne pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut each tortilla into 8 wedges.
- Pour lime juice into a clean spray bottle kept only for this use.
- Lightly mist each tortilla triangle with the juice.
- Sprinkle lightly with cayenne pepper.
- Place close together in a singer layer on a large baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until chips are crisp.
- Serve warm with Santa Fe hot bean dip.
