Creamy spinach casserole

Spinach is a good source of iron. This side dish offers flavorful way to benefit from it.

Ingredients

2 (10-ounce) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and squeezed dry
8 ounces light sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons bacon bits
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 cup seasoned or buttered bread crumbs

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread spinach in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  3. Stir in sour cream, Parmesan cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder and basil.
  4. Top with bread crumbs.
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
